Pizza Express - Reservar uma mesa

Having eaten at this establish countless times before during my childhood, it seemed the perfect place to remedy the vestiges of alcohol in our system from the night before. Eagerly, my friends and I downloaded the Pizza Express app, a clever scheme by the restaurant to encourage students such as ourselves to visit the restaurant given the billion pound debt faced by the company. My friends both enjoyed a free dough ball dish for signing up whilst I refrained from ordering due to lack of appetite, saving my deals for another day. Stopped here for a quick pizza before jumping back on the train. Service was friendly enough and quite speedy, but when I came to pay with a pre-paid gift card I was told that it wasn't accepted. Paid by other means and left. It turns out that this is nonsense and that they should have accepted the gift card. Hacks me off when waiting staff make up their own rules!

Three of us visited last night, Thursday 1st September. The food was excellent, the wine very well priced but overall the service was exceptional. We had a lovely young guy serving us and a very charming female member of staff. The service couldn’t have been more friendly and more professional. Really enjoyable evening.

Service was very slow and food was cold on arrival. Average food taste and one waiter very apologetic however no comment regarding the rest of staff. A disappointing evening.

Not a good atmosphere. Overly focused on takeaways and deliveroo (with bikers and gangs of youths coming in and out). Pizzas were OK but not as good as they were.
