Pizza Zone 555 Beach St.

Chances are, it's past 10pm and your staying at the Marriot across the road and looking for something to eat, well looks like you'll be Pizza Zoning Anyhow, that was our situation, after just landing, not much was open around Fisherman's Wharf, than Pizza Zone. The owner, Uncle Pizza Zone, was super nice, I love how he advertises the sizes of the pizzas/Pizza slices with a some visual representations above the oven, makes it nice and easy to get an idea of what to order. We opted for a medium pepperoni Pizza, and some tenders, there was a short wait, while Unlce Pizza Zone was running solo, but he was open and honest and mentioned there were a few orders ahead of us, we had no issues with...

Excellent drunk snack, good sober snack. They have pizza by the slice which is plain cheese and you choose the toppings you want and they warm it up with a little more cheese on top. The crust and sauce were good, the toppings were a little lacking.

I had a slice of pizza that featured a combination of mushrooms, pepperoni, salami, and cheese. The flavors were fantastic, and the toppings were generous.
