Plan B - Reservar uma mesa

This should not be your plan B when you try to get something to eat in Essen but your plan Z. I have been here two times only because one if my colleagues likes the place. Both situations the food was almost cold, the waitress...helps you once and never checks on you again and the location itself is nothing special. The first time i went here the waitress took our order and afterwards she left because her shift ended. No problem you would think, but when we checked where our food was the other waitress told us we had no order. She thought it was strange but didn't take the time to check us for this. Very impolite! I was going up and down the street trying to decide which restaurant to dine in since I have already eaten at three locations in Essen (see separate reviews for Pomodoro, Odysia, and Pelayo). I am reserving La Turka for my final night here. I...could not decide between a few of them so I simply went with Plan B. I will admit that the menu is somewhat limited, but the prices are very reasonable. You can check out the menu online, but it features several burgers, salads, and bar type food. Nice bar with louder music throughout the night. Alessa was a very helpful and fun waitress. Bar got pretty crowded around this Saturday though- good we arrived around to still get a table and chairs.

In Ruettenscheid, this bar is very nice to meet with friends and have a drink or two (or more The staff is nice, they organise live music nights. Normal prices, decent place!
