Playfair 's is a small steakhouse restaurant, very close to the famous golf course, The Old Course. It is located on one of the main streets of the small town of St Andrews, on North Street. They have a small terrace at the entrance, down a few steps, which makes you isolate from street traffic... The restaurant is decorated with the typical British pub touch, very cozy! served during the open wing satt and baked squid and chips. it tasted as if it were a frozen package from the island! barely fish and a few chips underneath. tiny lemon wedges on every teller and the fish of my wife burned. if we starve, we ate it, but the reflexion would have sent back. I know they have a market that is trapped during the golf, but we will not return.

excellent steakhouse within two blocks of the old course. two or three pairs of curses. we have chosen two courses: steak, chips, salat and dessert. we added oysters. with three rounds of drinks came the sum to about £80 including the congratulate. excellent service.

when I left, it had an assessment of 4.2 it did not deserve such a low rating. eating was very tasty and well presented, great service and beautiful people. hidden gem!
