It was my work Christmas do Zoom of course) and I was feeling sad not to have the opportunity for a three course meal with friends. Playwrights to the rescue! They have an amazing offer on Friday nights where they will deliver within Coventry for free £12 for one course, £16 for two courses, £20 for three courses, £2 steak supplement). I decided on the regular menu, but they are also running a festive menu for the same price, although I'm not sure which days this can be delivered. I went shopping this morning only to find M&S was closed as it’s Easter Sunday, amateur mistake on my part. Wanting a Sunday roast I thought of Playwrights, I was hoping they would be open for deliveries and thankfully they were. I have dined in at Playwrights on a few occasions pre-lockdown and I have always enjoyed the food. I have also seen pictures on social media from friends who have had a home delivery and it always looks lovely. The food arrived within the time slot I was given when I ordered it. We have ordered from Playwrights for a Sunday dinner delivery three times now, and each time has been a delightful experience. As someone who enjoys cooking, I typically make a roast for my wife and myself, but the chef at Playwrights is truly outstanding. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, delicious, and well-presented in attractive packaging and always arrives on time. Kudos to Playwrights for their fantastic service.

We are currently self isolating so ordered a Sunday roast with desserts. We had the roast beef. It arrived early, was dropped off by a lovely friendly lady with a nice smile. Food was still hot when it arrived and was delicious. It’s the first time I’ve ever ordered from here and can highly recommend it. Everything came well packaged, well labelled (I’m gluten free) and was so tasty. The gravy was delicious. Thank you so much. Reserve uma mesa agora

We had Christmas Day dinner which was delivered after we had to change our original plans due to Covid. It was delivered at the time we requested by a friendly and festive lady. We had two courses and the food was excellent. Loads of food- turkey with all the trimmings. We were well and truly stuffed afterwards. This was our first time ordering from Playwrights and we will be doing it again. Highly recommended.

We recently visited Playwrights Today for breakfast and we will definitely be returning more frequently now. The atmosphere and staff were excellent. The breakfast itself was one of the best I've ever had, with a great selection in the cooked breakfast and high-quality ingredients. Well done, this hidden gem in Coventry.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! It was my first time dining here, and I came with a group of four for breakfast. The service was flawless and the Eggs Royale were the best I've ever had. I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Food was excellent. Really tasty and an sll round 8 /10 . It was still hot when i got it home. If you csnt be arsed cooking then this is the winning ticket
