Das schöne Haus am Bad Herrenalber Rathausplatz blickt auf eine wechselvolle Geschichte zurück. Als wir vor 12 Jahren zuwanderten – Kinder, wie die Zeit vergeht! , befand sich darin ein frisch geschlossenes Ristorante, noch gut erkennbar an der trikolorierten Fensterbemalung. Bald darauf eröffnete eine resolute Dame das „La Plaza“, um in dessen großzügig dimensionierten Räumen ansässigen und durchreisenden Gästen die Küche ihres spanischen Gatten schmackhaft zu machen. Es blieb bei dem Versuch, trotz Stockfisch und anderen Spezialitäten. Die nächsten Pächter strichen das „La“ aus dem Namen und fokussierten sich auf hochwertiges Fleisch, vom Luxusburger über mächtige Steaks bis hin zum Chatea...

The beautiful house at Bad Herrenalber Rathausplatz overlooks an alternating history. When we emigrated 12 years ago – children, how late! , it was a freshly closed comb, still well recognizable from the tricolored window painting. Soon after that, a resolute lady opened the “La Plaza” to make the kitchen of her Spanish man tastefully tasty in his generously dimensioned rooms of residents and travellers. It remained in an attempt, despite fish and other specialties. The next tenants took the “La” from the name and concentrated on high-quality meat, from luxury burgers to powerful steaks to the Chateaubriand for two, for example on the occasion of one of our now very numerous wedding days.
