We stopped by this Pinxios (tapas) cafe/bar a couple of times during our stay in Bilbao and enjoyed coffee, a glass of wine and a small selection of their food offerings. It has a very nice ambience, open to the street, and the food was very good and ideal for a light snack. You can stand as the locals do, or you can sit on some small high tables. There is a street sitting area as well. The servers on all three occasions were very welcoming and patient with our broken Spanish. If you are in the area you won't go wrong stopping here.
Estás en el camino y tienes 4:00 y aún no has comido. porque aquí tienen una variedad de pinchos en todo momento, algunos muy ricos y cálidos. el personal es muy amable, y ponen música alegre y correcta (no reggeatons como sucede en otros lugares que abren a veces). el baño muy lujoso y limpio. y una bonita terraza para sacar al pequeño comedor de la nevera. Puse un 10 (y encantado de no haber terminado en una comida rápida, no para mirar el reloj y lo que es tiempo de comer).
On our recent visit to Bilbao were visited the plaza gran via on several occasions as it was close to our hotel. The staff were very friendly and even though we only spoke broken Spanish they always were friendly and they appreciated our attempts at the local language. The pintxos were good value and lots of choice. Great value for money on breakfast and beers and pintxos later at night. Well worth a visit.
Just back from a break in Bilbao, and this bar was a very short walk from our hotel. We stopped for breakfast here every morning and very often popped back in during the evening too. Great atmosphere, good choice of pintxos too, efficient and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and revisit.
