Poco Cantina - Reservar uma mesa

Poco Cantina is a solid Mexican joint in a convenient location, has decent service, and offers reasonably priced food and drink. I probably would stick to burritos though, as I personally thought the enchiladas lacked oomph and didn’t provide as much value. I’m yet to find an ‘amazing’ Mexican restaurant in Sydney and although Poco Cantina put in a solid effort, it still lacked the wow factor that I’m searching for.

decent tex mex for the price, but nothing imaginative. we paid $21 each for a chimichanga my partner ordered huhn and I ordered bark. the flesh was delicious. were generous salsa, guacamole, sour cream and Spanish rice steaming hot and straight out of the frit. for the price it was exactly what we wanted. my only complaint would be the standoffish server. other than that, would eat there again for a week at night.

What can I say... Came here on a wet Sunday night. The food... was just so mediocre. I did read some of the reviews and thought that I'd give it a go, but should have listened to my gut instinct. We ordered beef nachos and a burrito to share, and a jug of sangria. The Sangria was by far the most average thing we ordered. There is nothing else left to say about this place. Will not be returning.

Pleasantly surprised! Read the negative reviews but came anyways because we love Mexican. The sangria was good, amazing chicken wings and got beef chicken fajitas. Left full and happy! Will definitely be back for the wings.
