We are new to the Chelsea area and really appreciated a local grocery store in town we could go too. However, I have to say the last two experiences we had were awful! We were belittled and talked down to when we attempted to use the self scan option. The first time, I attempted to weigh the fruit I wanted to purchase and this older female employee started scolding me that I was doing it wrong. She was bothered that she had to leave her podium and walk over to assist. Her demeanor was so rude, she was even scaring other customers in line. The in store map is virtually worthless. It needs to be alphabetized. Yesterday, Nov 6th, I hoped to get a 2lb bag of Monterey Jack cheese. There were 2 available, both Stamped Best used by Oct 23, 2023. I also I needed to get eggs the first 3 cartons had cracked eggs so I ended having to merge 2 cartons. But at least their best used by date wasn 't 2 weeks ago! Mar 3rd: Out of bagged spinach, out of green onions, no pears super tedious might be worth going to Adrian instead of Chelsea

Only grocery store in town. Have to shop closely for sales. I'm not happy with the changes in the setup. I have lived in Chelsea all my life and think they need some compensation. Would love to see a dollar general or family dollar move in. At least I could also buy socks underwear and tee shirts.

Great shopping store. has all you need when getting food or snacks. They have lots of prime here also. I would give this place a 7.5 out of 10. Mainly because you can get food cheaper in other places. Also if you want complimentary mini shopping carts they have them : Reserve uma mesa agora

I have a consistently good experience shopping at this store. The cashiers and baggers are friendly and quick. The meat department is excellent and the gentleman at the meat counter went out of his way to help me.

Polly's is always clean as usually has everything I need but the prices have really gone up TERRIBLE It just wasn't me other customers were commenting as well

Best prices around. You wouldn't think so but it's a really great store. They do need to pay their staff better. $10.60 /hr is not good enough.
