Portia's Place - Reservar uma mesa

I was attending a meeting in Canberra for work, i was staying by myself, i was in the mood for Chinese, i looked up Chinese restaurants near me on trip advisor, my 1st choice was closed, Potia’s Place came up second based on the reviews, it had some great reviews including “best Chinese in Canberra” so i thought, yep that will do me, i rocked up, it was only 5.30pm and the only people in the place were take away pick ups, this was the 1st sign but I thought its only early, so I sat at the table and was immediately pounced on to order, i said politely as i could, i have literally just sat down haven’t even had a chance to look at the menu, can I have a minute please? She was polite, no issue...

Have visited this place over many years and it remains reliable. The room is small and cosy but never too noisy. Favourites are the Peking Duck but all the dishes are good. Friendly efficient service. Has long been a Canberra favourite of federal Liberal politicians and staffers.

favorite place for Asia. Wasabi Steak, Shantung Lamb, mustard chicken and so many more delicious dishes. Always go with empty plates on the table....
