It's always a favorite place for me to dine rather getting my food on the go or sitting down and enjoying the vibe! On this day I got a few of my favorites because it was my day to take myself to lunch, so i sat down and enjoyed the atmosphere.SELFCARE can be enjoying your favorite foods while taking the time to pause and appreciate you for you.I had the Spinach Empanadas, Potato Balls, Caesar Salad, Cuban Black Beans with a Sourdough olive oil baguette, Strawberry Macha tea, and the Tropical Lemonade. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, the feta sandwich and two potato balls and one sweet corn cirque. We weren’t expecting meat in the ball but it was still delicious even with the unexpected surprise.The plantain chips were fresh and had a good mouth feel. My only complaint is that we wished there was more tomato in the feta sandwich.

If you are trying first-time, I found it very helpful to walk the different sections and take pictures of what you would like to try. But know that the food can be very rich and very good. For example, the potato meat balls I recommend only 2 if you are having a dessert. It can be pricey but worth it for Cubano bakery ?

I love It here! We always get our cakes from Porto’s. The pastries are to die for. We went today to pick up a cake and bought some pastries to take home. My only complaint is that this time they put my pasties in a box. They got all nasty by the time we got home. They need a better method to pack pastries to go.

The place is like the best bakery place in Los Angeles, always busy and always fresh, the breakfast is great and very tasty, the servers are attentive and very friendly, we haven’t tried the cakes yet but almost everything on the menu is awesome, highly recommended
