visited the restaurant last night, for the first time since the reopening c 19 and was delighted to see that many people take up the governments august meal offer, we had booked in advance and were shown to our table by a waitress who was polite and...short was. all employees wore masks and we felt very safe because the other customers are well placed next to each other, this is a very spacious restaurant. we have tried and chosen about the reduced menu what we wanted to eat, the waitress took our order and it was not long before our starters arrived, these were well received, eaten and appreciated. it was not long before our main meal arrived, which was received again well, it was well pres...

tonight he visited with friends of 50 years, hoping to use the foods of the government. what a total shame. first we were told that dogs were not allowed, even outside. there is minimal signage to support this. we ordered drinks to drink if we couldn't even leave a card behind the bar. when we ordered food and accepted the order, we were told that there were 40 minutes waiting for food, although the place was quiet. we only have one cook on us. then this was not available, that was not available, all the time when I run backwards and forward around the one wise, the system is going to forward to our friends. Visited with family and a toddler. The staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We all had the roast which was really good value and a large portion, vegetables all fresh not frozen, generous meat portion and a...pudding all for £14.90 excellent value and will definitely go again, seating is not too close together and across the road is the canal centre to walk off lunch. All in all a great experience.

I had a lovely evening at this restaurant with my friend. The steak and chips we ordered were cooked perfectly, and the service provided by Marina, Sue, and Zoe was exceptional. Thank you!

would like to know when the restaurant is reopened, as it is a great place to eat and have a drink, it is a beautiful peaceful place to sit outside on the canal and enjoy some time there.
