Premier Inn Norwich East (broadlands/a47)

Stayed for three nights, good clean slightly older style hotel rooms with no close bedside phone charger or sockets, just ones on the desk or on the shelving area. No discreet bedside lamp only ceiling bedside lights which are too bright if one wishes to sleep and one doesn’t, it was good to be able to open the windows and let in the fresh air, at this time of year the temps are not cold and not hot. Always staff around if needed. We asked if the rooms could be made up as there is no easy way of drying towels, I did feel the lady behind the desk was a bit put out by the request. 10/10 customer service. Staff were extremely kind and helpful and made me feel very safe staying here. The rooms are so cozy and clean. The woman at the front desk was so lovely when I asked if I could bring a lot of bags in as i’m in the process of moving homes, she said I can bring as much in as I like and to treat this hotel like my home. The man who was in reception helped me carry my bags to my room and they really do make solo female guests feel very safe which is a lot different to some other hotels I have stayed in. Ok, the rooms haven't been upgraded in decades as the bed is original, and worryingly so are the radiators, also no usb plugs and key card holder for the lights, it's just an old fashioned switch Food drinks: Probably the only Premier Inn that has kept the pancake toaster!
