Primo - Reservar mesa

There are many pizza places in the Northcote/Westgarth area so I was not sure we needed another one - I am glad to be proved wrong. Primo is excellent. Staff were friendly both on phone when I reserved a table and on the floor. Pizza toppings are inventive and of great quality and most importantly taste. The base is one of the best I have had in Melbourne and cooked to perfection. I loved the tutto bene - that rosemary potato cream was something else. Only issue was the waitress disappearing with bank card for ages, apparantly they had a lot of card payments at once - but would have been good touch to inform us, as noone likes their bank card disappearing. I want to gpo back when very hungry...

Lovely space and great clean fit out. Not a large area but feels comfortable and cosy. Staff accommodated a pram in the nicest way possible! So family friendly!Fantastic to watch the staff in the kitchen and particularly the pizza maker- loving his work!The food menu is not overly long but still hard to chose from their varied menu. We tried the gnocchi and pizzas with a fantastic leafy salad. Tiramisu was to die for. The food was so tasty and full of flavour. Yummy!!Wine list was adequate and provided bottles and by the glass options at good prices. The wait staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Absolutely fantastic service. Can't wait to go again.

With more pizza bars than you can poke a stick at there is stiff competition in Westgarth, Northcote & Thornbury so a new place really needs to deliver. Primo seeks to standout by being a bit more grown up than the rest. And at this it succeeds. Service was impeccable with great staff. Not you enthusiastic yet inexperienced euro working holiday students here. We had a light dinner and was impressed by the unusual spin on the usual favorites. Fried calamari with balsamic was great as was the Supreme pizza with mortadella. The wine list was good too with some great choices. We had the Trebiano from Abruzzo and it complimented the food really well.

I've been here a couple of times with friends and family, and can't recommend it enough. The staff have always been attentive (it's the little things, like filling up your water glass, that count!) and the pizza bases are unbeatable: slightly crispy but still chewy. My go-to's are the Artie or White Boy pizzas. The balsamic calamari is a top starter and the cheeseburger is also delish. It's also opposite the Westgarth cinema and works well for a pre-or post-film feed. Reserve uma mesa agora

We came here to celebrate a birthday and the pizzas are absolutely delicious! I would certainly come back here again...Primo is an intimate and informal little place, the staff are attentive and friendly ! A must if you are in Melbourne!I recommend the White Boy pizza, made with fresh stracciatella, caramellised onion, garlic, olive oil and sea salt - all on a crispy base made with organic flour...Perfect!

I went to Primo with a few friends for dinner over the weekend and was really impressed. Probably the best pizza I've had this side of town. We had the Magico, Emilia and White Flower. Highlight was definitely the White Flower; fior di latte, gorgonzola, parmesan and walnuts - never had anything like it. We shared two pastas to start which were also great. Will be back soon!

A really great pizza place that caters to lovers of traditional toppings and people who like to try something new. Ingredients are all good quality, staff are excellent and the space itself is great!

Amazing lamb ragout gnocchi, I wish I could eat it every day. We shared a plate and retrospectively I wish I had ordered one for myself! The desserts were good, the chocolate lava cake especially. Reserve uma mesa agora

Enjoyed three shared meals tonight. Seafood spaghetti and pizza and chicken pizza. Such fresh vibrant ingredients presented perfectly. Gourmet food and pub prices.

So satisfied! Very good customer service and beautiful pizzas! Fresh, hot and delicious! The pizza dough is the best in Northcote by far!
