Priory Plaice - Reservar uma mesa

I rarely get takeout, but decided to stop by this restaurant one day while passing by. I ordered a pensioner's portion of fish and chips, which is perfect for smaller appetites, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The fish was freshly cooked and not small, the chips were also freshly cooked, and there was even a bonus of mushy peas included. All of this for under £4. The food was nicely presented in an insulated cardboard box, which kept it hot until I arrived home, and it was absolutely delicious. Although there was a wait for the food to be cooked, it was well worth it. The staff and restaurant were clean and I give it a 5-star rating. Well done!

On November 19, 2018, I visited this fish and chip shop. It had been closed for a day but was open again for business. Located on Priory Street, it's not in the city center but has parking nearby. The shop has two tables for dining and is undergoing a facelift, but it is very clean. The two portions of chips I ordered were excellent - thick, crispy, and golden brown. The fish was coated in a beautiful light batter. The staff was friendly and even checked the temperature of the fish before serving it. We definitely plan on visiting again.

Rarely do they offer takeout, but here, when I visited, I decided to order a small portion of fish and chips. The portion was surprisingly large, with freshly cooked fish and chips, accompanied by a generous side of mushy peas. All of this costed me less than 4 pounds and was presented beautifully in an insulated cardboard box, which kept the food hot until I arrived home. The wait for the food to be cooked was worth it, as the personal service and cleanliness of the restaurant were top-notch. I would give this place a 5-star rating.

This fish and chip shop was closed and up for sale for a while, but has now reopened. It is located on Priory Street, not in the town center, with nearby parking available. The shop has 2 tables for dining in and could use a facelift, but is very clean. The two cod and chips I ordered were excellent - the chips were perfectly browned and the cod had a delicious, light batter. The staff were friendly and it was reassuring to see them checking the fish with a temperature probe. We will definitely be returning.

Delicious, freshly cooked fries delivered to your door. This is the only fish and chip shop in the area that offers delivery service. Highly recommended.
