I love this funky, tucked away bar. Exposed beams, cool interior and a large impressive bar create the first impression after being greeted by a friendly man on the door. I have been 4 or 5 times now and only once, on a quiet night, was there no man to open the door for me. I'd got kinda used to it too... so maybe BYO man if it's a quiet night....or I suppose you could open the door yourself. I have found the service to be slick, friendly and knowledgeable. Proof is an awesome bar on Anster Street, with a pretty extensive cocktail list featuring bitters like aperol and campari. The decor is rugged chic with various deer heads hanging on the walls, leather booth seating upstairs, and a nice rooftop terrace with charming lights strung over the top for a little moodlighting. Great spot for a classy cocktail!
I went here looking just for a simple drink and the bartender was so friendly and kept giving me water to sober me up after i had 3 drinks. I asked the bartender to give me random drinks under $20 and he went along and I tried around 4 new drinks and had an excellent time. 100% going and and recommending to friends.
