Pub Down Under - Reservar uma mesa

Went here for the first time, to see a neighbour's grandson play. Live band, Thursday night. Small place and seems like most are locals. It was pretty full for an early Thursady night, with most people eating not just drinking. We just had a beer, sat at a long communal table with others, and watched the live show. Fantastic music. Felt very friendly and felt we could go up to anyone and chat. It's nothing special in terms of decor, and I probably wouldn't want to see it in the daylight. It's in the ground floor of a hotel, and walks out right to the parking lot, which is fantastic! Would recommend for a hang with the boys to listen to great music.

Decent service was the highlight and the food was okay. Ordered a wrap that had either the wrong dressing on it or it was strange tasting dressing; not sure which. Hubby had the sirloin tips and they came looking like they were in soup but it was gravy. Not anything we would want to eat again for sure but not terrible and the prices were fair, especially for being close to the hotel.

This place is a hidden gem! I know my seafood and these clams and fish are some of the best I've had! Gotta love crinkle cut fries too! And if your a sports fan the hockey stuff is fantastic! Great spot....if your looking for a fantastic meal at a great price check this place out!

The pub is in the basement of the building beside the Holiday Inn Express in Saint John. The service was very good and the food was good, especially the $5 fish and chips on Tuesday night.

We stumbled on this pub while staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door. The food was bar food - but the music by DEL WORDEN and friends was great and lively.
