Puerto Chico - Reservar uma mesa

We were in the vicinity and while I 'd read that the town itself was rather ugly, we needed a meal, so went into the town. Around the centre of town, there were about 3 tapas bars that didn 't look at all promising for food, as is often the case in Spain at lunchtime. We decided to ask a couple of the men there, and they enthusiastically recommended Portochico, as a place where one eats well. We were pleasantly surprised to find an attractive little port and a very nice restaurant with a good menu and some outdoor seating. They have a special of 35 euros for two people for the bogavante, which is their specialty and was explained to me as a type of paella. We opted to have the version of it...

I just ate one of the best lunch of my life. This restaurant is awesome and have wonderful food to serve with some fantastic wine. I come from India and living in Europe for 5 years now. Visited many places and very found of sea food. This restaurant fulfilled my search after 5 years. Thank you very much David for your wonderful hospitality at your restaurant. Buena situación frente al puerto deportivo , menú del día , platos correctos y abundantes , parece que también disponen de buenas tapas, marisco ocasionalmente , eso si , tardan demasiado en servir los platos, si lo mejoran , seguro suben sus valoraciones

Esta mal la direccion. La direccion correcta es: Calle ó Rúa MANUEL MURGUIA S/N, 27780 FOZ. Buen sitio para vermutear, picar y comer o cenar. Ambiente muy agradable.

Found this place on our stroll down the beach front. Our server was very personable and kind. The mussels were huge and abundant. Highly recommend.
