Punch House - Reservar uma mesa

Great visit here in July 2024. We were walking Offas Dyke and had booked to stay after walking the leg from Abergavenny. On arrival the landlady greeted us, despite being mucky and smelly from our 22 mile hike, and having an equally wet and muddy dog among us, we were made extremely welcome. It was a midweek day and we arrived fairly late 20:00) so the kitchen was shortly closing, we ordered our food while a staff member went and bagged us a table and put a dog bed from the stack next to the front door under it, along with some water and dog treats. We went up and settled in while food cooked, we were given towels for the dog once we'd washed him off and really made to feel welcome. The food...

They allow dogs fine but not where people are eating who haven't got dogs. I ordered sausages and mash it said on the menu (butchers quality Welsh sausages) nearly £12. 00 for the meal the sausages were very poor quality the worst I have had in ages very fatty full of cheap cuts of meat.

A busy pub we only went in for a pint or six,really friendly pub food looks good,Eroll the bar tender looked after us,very pleasant and polite young gentleman , Natasha was busy serving the tables and made everyone welcome

Sadly, there was road works outside, and it was a bit annoying,but not the pubs fault !! would highly recomend

On holiday been in twice each time the food and service was spot on thank you
