Wish I had looked at the reviews of this place before deciding to eat here!! As the majority on yelp and zomato are poor and even with this feedback improvement has not been made!!Special notice board outside saying everything on the menu for $25. I had already fancied the scotch fillet with peppercorn sauce valued at $38. So we thought it to be good value.I asked for medium it was served well done, my husband asked for medium to rare and his was also well done. My husband sent his back and was given a slightly thicker steak second time around but still over cooked. The chips tasted like they had been cooked in old fat and the sauce was very watery. Dropped in for some lunch after deciding there was not much on offer menu wise at the Breakwater. Friendly staff with prompt service, our overseas visitors loved the grilled barramundi, pork belly was a hit, the Burmese dish an odd one as two were ordered but one was a smaller serve with noticeably more vegetables and less meat and chili than the other but both were still nice. Serves were just the right size for a hot summer lunch and all seven agreed it was a good choice

A real alternative if you wish to have a quiet lunch on a Friday. I have been to the Purple Goat twice and both times I have enjoyed the location and the food. At $25 for every meal on the menu, there is an abundances of choices. The first time I had a seafood meal and the second I chose to have a steak meal. Both meals were a good size and quite satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive. I will be returning for a dinner meal at some time.

Our group went for breakfast at this restaurant. I decided to order the pancake stacks, which consisted of three McDonald's-style hotcakes topped with butter, whipped cream, and imitation maple syrup. At $6 per hotcake, it was a decent price. Reserve uma mesa agora

This is a lovely and welcoming restaurant. The food was delicious. They even have a motorized caravan named Tina that delivers the food to your table, which was a fun experience to watch and listen to.

Nice spot, it was really cold inside even with the blankets supplied. Food was very nice but I didn't like my wine served in thick glasses (Coke etc in them ok) Probly would try again in summer.

Good value. Really nice spicy salad. Table service. Views to water and jetty. Coffee good. Relaxed not hurried.
