3.75 5 Wanted to love this place. The store front was very cool. Inside was nice, clean and comfortable. We started with the 222 oysters and the oysters deviled. The flavors were fine but didn 't jump out at you. The temps seemed to be off on all (this would become a theme for the evening). The fried oysters on the Deviled ranged from cool to slightly warm. The 222 oysters seemed to be at about room temp across the board. We had the pear cider and highland gaelic. The cider was amazing but my beer (which I drink regularly) was off. The first one had way too much head and tasted soapy. Second was fine. We ordered the redfish and Steak Diane (special) for entrees. The fish was perfectly cooked...

The restaurant itself is charming in the beautiful downtown Black Mountain, but I was disappointed by my oysters on the half shell. The ice on the oyster plate was completely melted and the oysters were not cold. The ice holds the oyster shells. Most oyster liquors or juice had spilled into the melted ice, so oysters were not juicy and some seemed dry. I will give Que Sera another attempt, but I prefer to shake my oysters freshly and be served cold on a sturdy ice bed so that you can enjoy oyster juice. We were there shortly after the opening on Tuesday and ordered to start two dozen.

We were a group of 10 people meeting in Que Sera for dinner. Reception was immaculate, and the table with necessary dishes. Our server, Samantha, was friendly, attentive and understandable. Or the beverage order was taken in no time and the wine was brought out. We ordered a variety of dishes served in colorful games. I had steak frits. The Pommes were amazingly delicious, the Strak was great. Various fish and vegetarian dishes were ordered, followed by a variety of desserts. No one had any complaints about everything, and we blew in the evening.

Service and food were excellent! It is never a convenient moment when there is a problem with a meal, but our waitress went beyond and beyond in the quick correction of the situation, do not feel bad and help us have a wonderful experience. This type of service means a lot! And the Redfish Hal was really great.

Always a joy, great oysters, bruised and fried, redfish, gumbo and salad with a large French Chardonnay. My friends enjoyed their first experience and I enjoyed the restaurant since 2017. Thank you. Carl
