Railway Tavern - Reservar mesa

Hi, I am a local who has loved this pub in the past. Great vibe, friendly staff and just down the road from my house. Perfect! I even had my 40th birthday celebration there however it had been a while since I've popped by for...a drink (just before the second lockdown) with a friend who is also a local and WE WERE VERY DISSAPOINTED. Very rude staff members especially the gentleman with cropped blond hair who really shouldn't be Front of House as his attitude was appalling. Completely different vibe to what it was. We left The Railway Tavern to go to the Tulse Hill Hotel for a couple of drinks and the vibe was brilliant and more importantly the staff were friendly.

We booked a big space at railway tavern for a surprise 30th birthday. When we arrived we found out that the pub was also going to be the venue for a punk rock band- it was a ticketed event and the bouncers were not briefed...to let our party in so every time someone arrived we had to march the manager out to let them in. When we asked why they didn't inform us about the gig, the manager told us we should think ourselves lucky for being let in to a paid gig. He was consistently rude and unapologetic and made us feel completely unwelcome. The bouncers were also really awful to us. We all ate our dinners (which consisted of badly cooked pizza and then left.

terrible. the app is not useful. some of you tried and we couldn't get a hot drink. (free with breakfast.) the coffee machine was out, and even if it was on the app again, the app would not accept a job....One employee told us that we order our missing drinks on the cash. the bar staff told us she wouldn't drink us because it's illegal. all this would be understandable, but in addition the personal obstruktiw and rude. there were more employees than customers, and none of them would apologize or do anything. we say that our phones are not excused.) also that is the third time that has happened. what a shame. will not come back.

Went to watch the football final. Booked a table however the booking was not noted down when we got there even though we confirmed twice. However they did accommodate to our needs. App for this place works well and is easy to use with helpful...staff if you need any additional help with anything. Food was tasty and good size. Would go again! Reserve uma mesa agora

Such a lovely evening. I brought my dog along with me and she was welcomed and given some water to drink. My partner and I ordered some food as it was 50% off during September monday to Wednesday. Such a bargain! Food was honestly incredible....I had the vegan curry. I will be back for it again!!

I was there every week, but now only when I visit friends in tulse hill. the pub is close to the train station so it is helpful if they had a few drinks. the personal is really nice, delicious. the best feature of this place is its hidden...Garden it is very cozy and always packed in summer.

don't waste your time. the personal is very inappropriate and rude. terrible service, covid is not an apology to provide a bad service and to be rude for customers. they go elsewhere and save their money unless they fit the client type they can better...service

avoid this place! it was nothing but difficult from the beginning. the security was unnecessarily rude, the manager was even worse, and eating was best in average. also for drinks and dancing it is not quite great. there are many other possibilities in london. Reserve uma mesa agora

It was nothing but difficult from the moment we arrived. The security were rude to a young untroublesome girl and the manager was even worse. No common sense, zero tolerance, just don't bother if you want to have a nice night.

hidden gem with large garden back, newly furnished to covid, but amazing staff and service, even if it is busy, highly recommended!
