Ranch House - Reservar uma mesa

I grew up in Yuba City and remember the old Ranch House. This weekend my family got together for my dad’s birthday and we were initially going to go to the Dancing Tomato or a chain restaurant for dinner. We decided on the Ranch House since we haven’t been there for 20 years and thought it would be fun to go back and see how it is. We were the first to arrive when they opened and initially they didn’t want to seat us because we were there before 5:00pm. We were a table of 8 and we were seated in the back corner. At first I didn’t think much of the table not being set and that it was cold in the corner where they sat us….we did show up 10 minutes before they opened. I would have thought after...

A great 'local ' steakhouse. I had the 16 oz ribeye tonight and it was cooked perfectly. Ranch House is a fair distance out of town, but that 's one of the attractions of it. This is not a chain restaurant, it is a restaurant with character. Service was excellent and the steak.was big enough that we never made it to dessert.

My new favorite place!! Food and service were beyond what I could have hoped for anywhere. Had french onion soup and bistro steak with scallops that was the special and it was so flavorful and amazing. I am very impressed and pleased. Wonderful little gem with amazing food and service!!

The food was really good. The prime rib had a great taste and was super tender, although it had quite a bit of fat around and throughout it. The service was a bit slow to begin with, but got better once we had our food ordered. And the Bry-Fries.... A must!!

First time there but everyone was really friends. The food and service was good also. Heard the prime rib is great. They don't make it on Sunday will have to go back when available
