Rancho Escondido Mexican Grill

I’ve eaten in authentic Mexican restaurants all over the state from fancy ones, to gas station ones. This one is hands down my FAVORITE!! The atmosphere is so pleasant and the staff are so kind, friendly, and prompt. The food is so fresh and off the charts DELICIOUS. I decided to make a picture of my chicken fajita quesadilla after I had already started eating. Sorry. But, as you can see, they aren’t skimpy with the size. The plate is full!! It’s stuffed with chicken, cheese, bell pepper, and onion and comes with all the trimmings for only 7$. The prices are as awesome as the food!!! I went in for lunch today with my co-worker and the food and service were excellent! I had the steak fajitas with corn tortillas and queso with chips and salsa. All the food was very tasty and fresh. The waitress checked on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure everything was good and filled our sweet teas twice as well as giving us a to go tea and boxes for the left overs. I will definitely be going back again. The prices were also very reasonable for lunch and the servicing sizes were large.

When we moved down here, we tried many Mexican restaurants before we tried Escondido Mexicano. It's definitely our place now. Their guacamole is THE best. I was really pleased with the fajitas as the vegetables tasted freshly cooked and crisp. Not mushy like they'd sat in a pot all day like so many other places. They also give you an option for black beans vs. mushy refried beans.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian fajitas.Dietary restrictions: Corn tortillas available. .

Wasnt much going on as far as atmosphere and our waitress passed us off to another older lady whos english wasnt great, but she got all our orders correct and all the food was great....

The steak lunch fajitas are fantastic. The service is excellent as well. When it comes to Mexican food in the area, this place offers the best value for your money.
