My opinion is 9.6/10. I ended up doing 2 restaurants that day for Sri Lankan this being the first and wow what an impression. This is the lamb curry and so smokey and rich with flavor . Highly recommend. The lentils were cooked well and had a tumeric flavor. The green veggies bitter but balanced almost like collard greens, maybe some small amount of butter melon? The purple veggies kinda sweet but enjoyable like purple yams or sweet potato. Overall good customer service and enjoyable. Spring roll was different definitely the crust on it very good, but fishy flavor maybe too strong? Just go plenty of options to have a good time. All for $17 a full meal to feed 2 guys . excellent sri Lanka food, explode with aromen. masala vada with super crispy but soft inside with spicy red chilies. King fish curry was amazing, with a slightly spicy cocose broth and juicy and fluffy fish. do not miss the Auberginen page to ask this especially if it is not part of their teller! jammy, caramelized aubergin and swirl with a spicy, sweet taste that I could eat every day! small place with limited sitting area, but more attentive and helpful service cannot wait to go back.

This restaurant was very good with a wide variety of options. The prices were reasonable compared to similar restaurants, with meals ranging from $10 to $30 per table. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious, although the atmosphere could use some improvement to match the quality and price of the food. The parking space was limited, with only enough room for about 10 cars.

The dining experience was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement. We tried dishes such as lamprais, teufelshühnchen, ceylon chicken, chicken jersey redi, and wattalappan. We went here looking for great Sri Lankan food, and we're definitely happy that we stumbled upon this place. It really punches above its weight. The food is all very homey tasting. My wife loved the curry goat meal, and I loved the specialty that was wrapped in the banana leaves. The appetizers were all delicious too. I'll be back.

Honestly, I found the restaurant to be a bit pricey considering the ambiance and the simple, budget seating. However, the taste of the food was fantastic. If you enjoy spicy South Asian cuisine, this is the perfect spot to visit in New York City.

Appetizers were small quantity but absolutely delicious ? food was all a hit! We havent tasted aapam this fresh anywhere! To top it all off the falooda was amazing
