Red Fish - Hilton Head

This place was a last minute reservation. We are new to the Hilton Head area so we explore new restaurants and Hilton Head has many first-class restaurants. This is a beautiful elegant, white table cloth with candles type of restaurant. You have live piano music and you are literally and completely surrounded by racks on racks of fabulous wines! The atmosphere in this restaurant is low-lighted and warm with lots of wood and works of art. It has almost a light polynesian feeling. The menu is simple, but great! Everything was fabulous. BEST restaurant we were at HHI in our 5 days. Six stars if I could. Jen was a GREAT server, like the young Gentleman server that cleaned dishes, brought bread etc... The grouper was flat DELICIOUS!!! The Chilean sea bass was very good as lobster and shrimp. Jen, and the kitchen, gave a great task to receive our substitutions. Enjoy the lobster and shrimp Mac/cheese. Black bean soup was delicious and the caramel apple bread pudding filled our sweet wishes. We were a group, but that would be a great place to have a romantic dinner. Will definitely return.

Well I know why this place has great reviews. You wouldn’t know it as you’ll probably drive by a dozen times before you see it based on the location but the food is on point. I’ve never seen a shrimp and lobster burger and it was loaded with meat. The sea bass is also a bevy of Asian flavors. The deserts on the menu are mostly made in house. The special tonight was not so we got the torte which is. Staff was great and efficient and our server Nicole was awesome. Glad we tried this place this trip as one of the new places to visit.

Was not on our list, but decided to try. Had no reservations, but was sitting for early dinner. From cocktails to dessert, this place was on the spot. Had the scalops and lobster Mac.... with cream bubble. If your wallet is light, this place is not for you. Expect to spend $200 for 2.

I enjoyed this meal for sure! The service was excellent. It was our first experience on the island celebrating our anniversary! We will make this a stop every time we visit!
