Red Lion - Reservar mesa

I visited The Red Lion with a group of elderly ladies. We had pre booked, but walk in bookings were possible. We enjoyed local cider and delicious home cooked food. The menu was varied with a selection of traditional pub grub and more ethnic dishes from around the world. A great location in a quiet village just a few miles from Ashbourne. I will definitely be revisiting.

Stopped off without a booking and we were fitted in. Not a huge menu but the food was home made and very tasty. I loved the pickled red cabbage with my gammon. Great steak and ale pie .. and the treacle sponge pudding and custard got a big thumbs up. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Stopped at this lovely pub for a drink on our walk. Lovely friendly staff nothing was too much trouble when we asked. Dog friendly as well, they even have biscuits for them too . Will definitely go again next time we are in the area

Had a lovely evening with my partner at this friendly, cosy pub. We had a great chat with the landlady who was very welcoming. Will definitely be back the next time we visit the peaks : Service: 5
