Red Papaya Bar & Grill

This restaurant is extremely inconsistent. I have visited a few times because when the food is good, it's really good. However, the inconsistency is too much for me to continue wasting my time and money. During my most recent visit, I ordered tofu pad Thai as I am a vegetarian. Unfortunately, the dish was filled with chicken instead of tofu, with at least four times more chicken than tofu. When I asked for a refund due to the error, I was told I was not eligible. This experience was the final straw for me, as I could have become seriously ill if I had consumed the dish.

I ordered the mango stir fry and found it to be fairly tasty. However, the mango was not ripe and this made the dish less enjoyable. It was also quite watery. The vegetables were good and there were generous portions of chicken, which led me to give it a rating of 3 out of 5.

There was a small error with the delivery, but the missing items were promptly sent out. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always excellent.

The food was okay, I would not recommend the chicken pad thai and calamari. Beautiful place and kind servers though.

This was my first time trying thai food. I tried Pad Thai and spring rolls and loved both the dishes.Food: 5/5
