Red Rock Downtown Bbq

We had the Yipsi pulled chicken sandwich. Our waitress Jo was very accommodating when we asked to share it. She had the chef cut it in half- each half on a separate tray. And our cross cut waffle fries in a basket and just enough coleslaw to accent the meal rather than overwhelm. There were several BBQ sauces to try- all of them were good. Now for the reason for sharing the sandwich.... Cheesecake! I had the Turtle and my BF had the Blueberry both were very tasty and we were comfortably full. Jo was excellent- welcoming -efficient- suggested that we would like the cheesecake and she was right!

On average dried foods over price. I thought we were short in A2. It's a huge pile of food. We ordered almost an hour and half before picking up, got a call ten minutes before the scheduled pickup to get informed that they did not store the two main participants. We are flexible and have a good understanding of how the food service works, so we have changed our order to a few sandwiches. Bring them fifteen minutes from the time they said to come and wait another 45 minutes to get our food. It seemed sufficient staff, especially if not so busy (near empty dining room). Very disappointing.

Let me first say that I'm from Texas that really sets the BBQ bar high. This is good BBQ, but not Texas good BBQ. All the meat we tried was very good, but a bit dry when I used to it. Also note that I don't eat so much sauce. If you sow them, you'll probably love them. I think it was pretty good for BBQ in a northern city. But if you're from Texas, you might be a little disappointed. The staff was great, the service was good and the beer was really cold. Give this place a try to see what you think.

It was expensive for what you get. Too much rub on the ribs to my pleasure, and the pulled pig was dry. The bride had no break, but a stretch. If you don't have a barbecue, you'll know what I mean. Service. It was good. Oh, and the smoking chicken wings were not crispy.

I had the Red Rock for my wedding and the food was absolutely amazing!! I had so many compliments from my guests and now man. The catering staff was very easy to work and made my wedding stress free. I would definitely recommend Red Rock for a party!! Best decision!
