Refuge Le Repoju - Reservar uma mesa

A good place to eat typical Savoyard dishes, fondue, raclettes... We ate a raclette on a wood fire that was very good and tasty. The very typical mountain restaurant and the place where it is located is exceptional. It has to be reserved in high season, they do two shifts. The raclette was accompanied by cold cuts and small boiled potatoes. There is a person who is only dedicated to putting the raclette on your plate on top of a potato. As you finish the portion of raclette, they put another one, until you finish the boiled potatoes. Fun and tasty experience. friendly staff.

Really tight dormitory with no windows, passage through the outside (bad weather) to access the common room. No place to properly dry your laundry. No games to occupy your evening apart from a classic card game. No fruit or fruit juice at breakfast. On the other hand, good picnic to take away. As for the restaurant, the tartiflette was one of the most ordinary I've eaten: not very gratinated and cheese with little character.

We stopped at the Repoju refuge, a bit cold reception, especially for hikers. In short!! Comfortable bed, hot shower, good quality dinner, not very rich breakfast. I would not recommend this refuge to hikers, an establishment that wants to do too many things, catering for the general public, Half board for hikers, sale of cheese. Too bad a wonderful setting

Very nice place to eat. Had lunch on the terrace in the afternoon and then booked to eat once in the evening. Shifts at 7 and 9 p.m. Feels very authentic. Very attentive and friendly service. Fantastic local cheese fondue. But the fireside raclette looked great too!

First experience and frankly it will be unforgettable warm welcome, beautiful setting and excellent cuisine
