Regal Fish And Chips

I recently visited the Regal Fish and Chip shop (formerly known as the Classic Fish and Chip shop) yesterday. Located across from Debenhams, I enjoyed a delicious meal of cod and chips, while my friend had skate and chips. The cod was cooked to perfection and the chips were excellent. My friend was delighted to have skate, a dish we had not been able to find for some time. The portions were generous and the glass of house white wine was the perfect complement to our meals. Both dishes were offered at a special price for seniors, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this fish restaurant and will definitely be returning on my next visit to WGC. We ordered 2 small cod and chips takeaway and wow it was really nice although they say small fish and small chips they were very generous portions . The chips were nicely cooked and the fish loverly white big flakes and a tasty batter Also very friendly staff . A few weeks ago I took my elderly mum for a sit down meal she ordered Rock and chips which looked amazing and she eat almost everything which she never does . Thanks too all I think we will be seeing a lot more of the Regal fish and chips

I wish I had taken a photo, but we were too busy enjoying the delicious food! This place has the best fish and chips in the area, hands down. We had a nice glass of wine while waiting for our takeaway, and the service was excellent - so friendly! The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I can't wait to go back!

Cod beautifully cooked, moist, chunky and lightly battered was hot, and tasty. Chips crisp chunky and dry. Slice of lemon, buttered roll. Perfect after work dinner. And yet... This place is licenced, so Spanish white was the perfect accompaniment. All for £15. Excellent

Great food and excellent service. Fish was lovely and white non greasy. Would highly recommend sitting in for lunch.
