Very disappointed with tonight’s service. We spent £70 on a takeaway for my son’s birthday. Firstly, the food was delicious. Can’t fault the taste, it was lovely and hot and quick delivery BUT… we ordered a pilau rice, the whole room heard us order it, the restaurant even read it back in the order! But it wasn’t delivered. We rang and the guy at the restaurant was very rude. Claiming we didn’t ordered it. Making comments such as ‘ I’m not psychic ‘. We asked for another rice to be sent to which they agreed but said that we wouldn’t get it for free and did we want to pay cash or card? We never assumed we were getting it free? I was impressed with the cleanliness upon entering and being seated . And despite it being a chilly April night, it was warm in the restaurant . The menu is extensive but I chose bengal chilli chicken , it was described as a home style dish . What a good choice strong flavours and a chilli kick too. . I was stunned with its taste . The accompanying pilauo rice also had those little complex elements to it. This was an Indian meal at its best . Additional little things impress me like proper linen napkins and table clothes , my beer glass and cutlery were squeaky clean and the loos were reassuringly clean
I ordered a Naga Chicken Tika curry from Regency Cottage. Guys, firstly, the food was OK, and I say that because the curry was no where near hot enough to be a naga curry. Secondly, the chef needs to add individuality to his or her curry, because there was too much base curry there. C'mon chef, LIVEN IT UP A LITTLE! Also, and I'll say this again! Do they think that us people that live here in the UK are ignorant on WHAT a curry should taste like????? Blimey, I've been making and eating and making curry for over 30 years! Don't think we don't know what we're talking about!
Placed online order as it stated is was open till half 2 to my receipt says order placed 12.58pm no contact no food money been taking hope to get a response when it opens later...... 6:15pm the food came not happy with service but the food was 10/10 I cannot lie. Reserve uma mesa agora
