Rendezvous - Reservar uma mesa

Stayed at the resort and decided to dine here. We didn't dine here again and most of the people that we saw at the same time didn't go back either (should say something). The restaurant itself is quite nice décor wise. My wife had the dory and prawn dish and enjoyed it. I had the steak and asked for medium well done. There was no medium about it and it was well done like boot leather. The toughest steak I have had in ages. Now this place rates as the second worst restaurant in the area. With a little more care (management) it could be so so much better. The poor young waitress on her fifth shift had obviously received no training. She had limited knowledge of the menu. We stayed at the Esplanade resort and Spa for a short mid week break and were amazed to find the restaurant was not open for breakfast or lunch, and not open for dinner on Monday evening! We booked for Tuesday evening but found when we arrived at the appointed time that our table had been given to a walk up diner. We then had to wait over an hour for a table. Obviously bookings don't count for anything at this restaurant. Given there isn't a nice waiting area, we went back to our room to wait. When we eventually did get a table the food was very good. However the service was different! We felt sorry for wait staff being sent to the wrong tables with the wrong meals regularly! This is probabl...

After eating here this week with the family visiting from Melbourne we were astounded.From the second you walk through the the doors the atmosphere is so formal yet relaxed, with a beautiful setting and extremely friendly staff it was definitely the way to start the night offUpon being seated we noticed the beautiful outdoor area that looked a treat for those summer nights (we will be back for one of those), with a menu for everyone's fussy appetites this night was a blastWith the variety of food arriving from pastas to curries and pizza I must say even the beef salad was amazing, and to finish the night off the sticky date was huge and oh so good! Will definitely be returning soon

Ordered garlic bread and came out without garlic. Ordered a 5 course seafood banquet for two and 45 min later still hadn't received the first course so we walked out with no questions asked from the staff. Terrible service go elsewhere for your food.

Good atmosphere, service good, food was good size and reasonable quality (my chicken was a bit "tough" but very tastey). Fish was good. Limited selection of wine but the Tambo Cab Sav was very nice if you like a red. Reasonable price
