Restaurant Albatros

We both arrived here on a sunday evening looking for a tasty but simple meal aftee having driven over 1,000 km's from the Netherlands. We were not disappointed. We both went for the 3-course menu for €29.50. The starter, coquilles baked in the oven with a cheese crust was very nice. Mains for my wife was baked salmon, while I had a stew of 3 fishes with yellow rice. Both very nice. But the best was the dessert, apple crumble, with bourbon vanilla ice cream. All in all a very pleasant experience, and the service was very Covid-19 compliant.

What’s not to like about an €18 lunchtime menu of mussels, hake in a curry sauce and ile flottante served with a smile on a sunny blustery day in Audierne? Appropriately small portions, as suggested by the price, but perfect for lunch. We called en route from Pointe de Raz to reserve a table in 20 minutes (glad we did) and were met by name on arrival. It put a smile on our faces and fuelled us to walk up to the harbour entrance to the Raoulic lighthouse.

We really enjoyed the two or three times we ate in this little retauurant along the quay. The food was very good and we were of course surprised to get as desert the best apple crumble (apart from my wifes of course! in Bretagne possibly in France!

Fantastic lunch right by the harbor. Good choice of both fish seafood and meat . Two different set menus and a la carte . Great food and very friendly staff .Highly recommended.

We had the crevettes grillées which were delicious. The place was packed, but the service was good very pleasant. The location, on the Marina, is perfect.
