Hotel Tides Scores always out of 5 Nicole: 4.7 Carl: 4.8 Great Dinner spot in Asbury Park! The food was amazing! We had the angry mussels and shrimp as an appetizer, I must say it was some of the best mussels we have ever had!!! Between the broth it was in, the chorizo and the hot peppers, the blend of tastes were incredible! For dinner Carl had the Short Rib and Nicole had the swordfish (which was one of the specials for the night). The were both terrific choices. Short rib isn't one of Carl's go to meals but the waiter talked him into it and he's glad he did. It was delicious. Nicole's swordfish didn't disappoint either. This is the best restaurant in Asbury Park, hands down. The menu changes with the season and every single item on it is delicious. The drinks are so tasty and pair well with the food. The staff is fun and attentive. This place is on point all year long, not just in the summer months. Go ASAP and try everything : .

the dining room was empty in the round when we ate here. eating was a bit damp, the server was a bit strange and didn't feel very comfortable. it is an ok meal, but this place is high in the opposite, and certainly not deliver. the veranda is a beautiful place to have a drink.

service and eating were as usual very good. we will miss the hotel tides in its current iteration, but hope that they will come better than ever.
