Restaurant B5 to be

The restaurant is inside the Berchtold hotel, it's quite busy both at noon and in the evenings and has pretty good food. Try the B5 salad, the tastiest salad ever, although it may not be that light. Service is always correct if a bit rushed but as the place is full it's completely understandable. I've been eating here for years and have yet to have a bad experience or a bad meal. Pretty good outdoors seating if the weather is good.

This hotel/restaurant/bar bistro is convenient for the main railway station in Burgdorf. The food is good quality but sometimes it takes too long to get served. There are indoor and outdoor eating areas plus the newly opened B5 bistro which extends further down the street. The clientele is mixed age groups.

Very nice place located right in the middle of downtown, bar and lounge out front, restaurant in the back. Very modern but tastefully decorated place, nice selection of classic and unusual dishes (mostly European fare), good quality and prices.

Best ingredients. It was evident that the chef takes great pride in the food coming from his/her kitchen. I still dream of the meal I had there...

We enjoyed the nice setting of the garden with drinks and some nachos as a snack. The latter were rather disappointing.
