This restaurant fulfills every expectation of a classical Swiss restaurant where the chef at Bad Eptingen creates dishes that are solid and reliably high in quality. This visit was in midst asparagus season. Tasting the 'Boucher a la Reine with white asparagus and veal sweatbreads made a fantastic first impression. The piece de resistance was the fantastically caramelized veal chop with Morilles, springtime vegetables and pommels pailles. Main course is excellent and should be at CHF 60. Classic chocolate mousse for desert was ok. Be prepared to spend ~150 CHF for an a la carte 3 course meal with wine, worth its price. Bad Eptingen is a consistently highly valued culinary experience we keep going back for. The Lobster cocktail and the Fish variation with spinach and Champagne sauce with Pommes Allumetes is a family favourite for all of us. Oh and the chocolate mousse or Crèpe Suzette, are classics to return for too. We’ve become regulars. Waiting staff is very competent and the Chef de Cuisine even more so. True pro’s. A delight to visit everytime. Bravo.

Had dinner here recently, the food was excellent as well as the service. A little expensive, the menu was not exactly how I would have preferred my meal, I am a little picky, I had a few special request and got exactly what I wanted. I would return.

Again we are full of praise for the excellent food. As the restaurant was very busy there was unfortunately quite a lot of running back and forth by the waiters. But otherwise the atmosphere was lovely

We celebrated our anniversary in the restaurant! Great food, wine list and very attentive service! Recommend reservation as the restaurant was almost full on Tue evening!
