The best hospitality i had in Switzerland. The room is perfectly clean. The hotel is roughly 8-9min walking distance from Brienz Banhof. The road to hotel was slightly sloppy so not suitable if you planned to bring someone by wheelchair. The BEST part is hotel provide free ride to train station upon request. They did something beyond excellence was, the lady owner provide us their personal raincoats when it was raining. I am really felt blessed with such hospitality.

The hotel was very dirty and in need of renovation. The rooms are old, the duvet has dirty stains on it, no TV and no fridge. Very noisy even the room doors are not sealed. Curtains were also broken. One would expect more from the price. Great 5 star view on the lake, train station nearby. Not recommended, sorry

When I booked, I already suspected what to expect since it was the last time. We only needed it for one night so we accepted it. Room without toilet and shower. Was in the hallway. OK. Clean. The hotel is very old. Service not very motivated. A pity.
