A friend and I tried Restaurant Choi recently as we'd heard good things about it. We weren't disappointed, It's a quiet, unassuming spot next to a Motel and burger joint so you don't really know what to expect when you get inside. We were happy to see it's clean, neat and with a pleasant decor. The server promptly seated us and took our order a few minutes later. The menu isn't quite extensive as I've seen at some Asian restaurants but all the essentials are there. The won-ton soup was extremely satisfying with an extremely fresh and flavorful broth. place: nicer inside than how it looks like from the outside - unexpectedly modern/quaint feel.Food: very delicate and good quality ingredients. We had the steamed fish with side of steamed vegetables. it was delightful, from the looks of it to the taste and perfect cuisson of it and the side vegetables. Was intrigued to go to Choi based on comments from previous patrons. Despite the unassuming location the decor is nice and clean. I think they have room for about 50 or so, so a little more intimate. The menu is somewhat limited and really a little different from what you would normally expect, in the sense that it is less about getting a bunch of plates and sharing and more about the quality of the food. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but wow, you can taste the difference when the food is made from scratch! Won ton soup and spring rolls, top notch. I experienced the most delightful Lemon Chicken at Choi last evening and I must say it was the best I ever had! Not only was the meal fantastic the atmosphere, service and overall experience was great. If you are looking for a good choice of Asian cuisine and wonderful experience you must try Choi! Restaurant is spotless and comfortable.The food was excellent.The service was lacking.Except for opening the bottle of wine and serving the initial 2 glasses ,we spent the rest of the evening pouring our own.We waited an eternity for our main course.We left disappointed.

Have now tried twice and both time the food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Great variety of dishes all of which I would order again. Make it hard to choose, so why choose, they are very open to sharing.

This is a nice place for some great asian food except you must be lucky and hit the right night.Some nights are excellent and other very ordinary.Mediocre wine list.
