had high hopes, but not to a standard that corresponded to price or call. had the menu de gustation with matching weep and that made the cook with “Carte Blanche”, as it said on the menu. foie gras was in order, but not made. in restaurant, rest of the meal was usual to say the least, cheese curs was bad and desert was very bad. I suggested to the waiter that we have a look at the bottle when we served weeping instead of bringing glasses, and that was not possible that he said. the older server came with an empty bottle to show us. we weren't the wiser! I'm not worth going. many other good places in the city and close.

After having driven around LFB for a while looking for somewhere simple but respectable to eat (without success), we decided to go into LFB and try Le Dauphin. We thought it might be a bit pretentious so were a bit apprehensive. How wrong we were....Very helpful and attentive but not invasive service and absolutely incredible food it made the evening. We were warmly greeted and helpfully presented with menus in English. The food was stunning, tasteful, faultless and amazingly good I went for the €50 set menu (5 courses) and my wife, selected A La Carte dishes. We'll be back as someone once said...

a very inviting small place, with a very small menu – and for larger groups they may not have too much choice, but it is still very good. eating is fresh and I think locally; presents very good and with a lot of taste and side. Closes/amuse bouche to fill a full meal. not the place for a quick snack to come, but eating is good enough to justify the time.

not only a picture perfect stop from the location in the village la ferte bernard, but also a magnificent escapade in the dauphin. we were on a Friday on the way from paris to le mans with a stop to lunch and when...we chose the menu, it was perfect. the personal is exceptional and the owner attentive. it's a joy. fun.

it is wonderful, eating is spectacular. the love for detail is incredible. the service is great.
