Durdu - Reservar uma mesa

We stopped for lunch late July during the heat wave. We had been trying our luck at Restaurant Belle Rive but it was fully booked. We had to wait for a bit to get seated on the shaded patio and also service wasn't the quickest but it turned out they were short on staff that day and it looked like everyone was trying their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner under the searing heat. But none of this mattered as soon as the food arrived. My wife and son had the quenelle with sauce Nantua which is a traditional local recipe with crayfish sauce. We booked on the Saturday which was just as well as they were full for Sunday lunch otherwise. We had a table that made it easy for our grandson with the highchair and they waited patiently whilst we first fed him and enjoyed our aperitifs; An excellent menu though wife and I ended up sharing an excellent pizza and salad as we didn't want to drawn out a meal. View is magnificent and staff were all extremely friendly. We will return.

A lovely situated restaurant overlooking the lake. A traditionally French restaurant geared for the local food wise but a warm welcome to us and happy to speak English when my French failed me! Excellent top quality food. Was able to tell me what I couldn’t eat due to gluten intolerance but no Gf menu (however this is often the case still in France) Would highly recommend

Arrived at 1:15 and despite there being plenty of empty tables, we were told they could not serve us. We went across the street to the Restaurant Glacier and were delighted with both service and food. The fletan fish in Nantua sauce was absolutely amazing! Thank you Restaurant Durdu for turning us away!

Food was nice, service was nice, nothing bad to be found. It was very busy and we were lucky to get a seat. Seems like a lot of locals eat there so that should mean the quality is always good. Free and more than enough parking in the park next to the restaurant.
