Restaurant Gipfelstube

Slightly off the main thoroughfare and still quite busy, which is often a good sign. The clear soup with pancake was fine but smaller than many; the garlic cream soup was very nice and is seriously creamy.The fitness salad was a little basic and the Tirolean potato / beef / bacon dish with an egg on top had a lot of oil / grease which meant it was heavy going.The service was good, but the food was a disappointment overall.

Great little gem with authentic local food and great service. Had dinner two nights on a three night visit and daughter rewarded them with the title of best wienerschnitzel in Oetz. Service and friendliness of staff was fantastic. When asked if they had milk for the kids to drink and they said no, they had no problem when we went back to get our own milk. Only drawback is it's a cash only restaurant.

Located in a small side alley we would have missed this place if it wasn't for a special recommendation of our landlady at Haus Tirolerland.This is a wonderful little restaurant with authentic atmosphere, really good, very traditional food and one of the best "Marillenschnaps" I have ever tried!(And it's telling that that is one of the places that the locals like to frequent!)

Great food very good service fast and nice.. I had Garlic Soup and ötztaler Käsespätzle.....and a few beers Have been there before a good place to visit when in Ötz!

Being in the restaurant makes you feel like a local. Cozy and quaint. Good food and portion sizes. A good place for conversation.
