restaurant half empty. it took 15 minutes until someone accepted our orders, and when I asked how long we had to wait for the food, we were told 45 minutes. I don't want to know what it is when they're busy. we left there and then left, but the staff did not apologize.

the food was in order, but the terrace is not flat, so one of us was above the table and the other underneath. so many smokers as in all Europe must be found. the waitress was murky - our first eating in heidelberg and not a good start - but the rest was good.

The best restaurant with ground floor kitchen in the old town. Here you will find delicious veal, best potato salad and a magnificent view of the Old Bridge. Only the glass salad bowls I miss!

in the beer garden of the golden hecht in heidelberg we enjoyed a fine eating in the free. the service was great and the evening totally pleasant.
