Restaurant le Jardin Celeste

I use this restaurant several times a year when visiting Paray le Monial, the nearest town. It's convenient for the heavily used cross-country route nationale 79, the nearest junction being only a hundred metres away so it makes a good lunchtime stop on a long...haul journey. Reasonably priced buffet (a little more expensive at weekends) and also the option of having fresh food cooked to order, which I've not yet tried. we went there on a Saturday, which meant that the buffet was about €20. we didn't even have another choice because the buffet is the only option. however, the choice is very extensive, and eating is good and of good quality. (I like...or maybe not have eaten too many egg rolls to go on with my nutrition) I would say it is a good choice for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.

Even at noon and in the eventing le Jardin Céleste is worth to visit. The buffet and the wok are full of good food. Make your choice among beef, fish, shrimps,chicken, sushis,mushrooms and vegetables. Cooked of wokked. Of you like sweet compose your own dessert...from the buffet. Everything is there.
