Restaurant Les Lavandes

We ended up here as a last resort as all the well reviewed places within 15 mins drive of our hotel were closed on a Wednesday! It exceeded our expectations in that it had a pleasant cool terrace, friendly staff and good value menu, but the food was basic if plentiful. Certainly beats flogging in to Montelimar and trying to park there only to pay over the odds, if you are staying near Montelimar North motorway exit.

Welcome was without any issues but nothing else either....food was extremely average with nothing really poor but nothing really good. Very close to hotel being the biggest positive but there’s no choice so that’s not great either. Wouldn’t bother again to be honest.

Wow. We had low expectations on our stop-over. This place was exceptional. Gorgeous food and great service, with a garden setting. We really got lucky. I thought we'd get a basic trucker stop. STRONGLY recommend you book your pit stop here!

Very welcome staff. Food very good. I had a steak which I do not normally do in this type of restaurant. Wine by the carafe was very good
