We were wandering around the town square looking at menus and came across this restaurant. As we were reading the display board which was in French English and German, the owner came to us and said that it wasn't worth going anywhere else since the menus are the same...ummmm. We did have a look at one other but it was more pricey so went back. Asked the waitress for a table for six, but she offered us a table for five and said she would bring us another chair. When we sat down we realised that there was about a 15 degree slope on the table. We asked if we could move to another table which sat 7 people but she said it was reserved for another group. She didn't offer any other tables even thou...

I 'm rarely negative in my comments, but sometimes a negative reaction might stimulate to do things better… What do You feel if You wait for half an hour for Your table to be disencumbered and cleaned? And how well do You feel when it takes another ¼h to get the menu, while (right behind Your back) the waitresses say that the holiday makers have largely time to wait? Salernes is a nice place to visit and the market has it 's nice pays du sud atmosphere… But it takes a simple messy table service to doubt if You 're really welcome… My advice: Waitresses, try to be a little more professional and all could be much more fun!

Went twice with 2 different family groups. Once with adults and elderly mother in law who was in a wheelchair. There were no problems accommodating her and second time with younger family and baby in a push chair … again no problems. On each occasion we had good food, friendly service good value for money
