We were able to enjoy an exhilarating birthday party together with 50 guests on August 27th, 2022 at the Loohof in Oftringen. The location of the location, the rooms, the ambience and the cool crew under chef Daniel Pittet offered all the stops of fine dining, incredibly creatively they made our taste buds explode. All the guests were extremely excited. We have a certain sadness as the Loohof is closing its doors. In our opinion, an irreparable loss of gastronomy that can hardly be topped in the region as a whole. Yesterday I was able to enjoy a wonderful gourmet menu with my wife. There was a fantastic combination of excellent courses with a clear line and a surprising acidity/sweetness. A good drop of wine was served to accompany each course. The whole thing was packaged in an impressive ambience in the wine cellar, as well as original presentation and a very courteous host. Despite the impending closure, nothing is lost in quality, so it's worth visiting the Loohof again! Thank you very much family C.
