for our return of aachen we planned another station in monschau. the medieval town with idyllic shopping houses we wanted to see each other for a long time. for dinner I had put the scavenger with the restaurant schnabuleum in the eyes. We arrived at Restraunt Olive and were warmly welcomed by one of the waiters. Unfortunately he didn't speak much English which made it a little hard to tell him my husband is Celiac. He kindly told us our pizza's would take longer because they are fresh. When our food arrived all the meals were fresh and full of flavour. We all enjoyed our meal so much for the food was delicious. We definitely recommend this to anyone for the food is great quality.

Best meal in Monschau. Carpaccio and Vitello Tonato we had for starters were good, my lamb cuts and my wife's vegetarian red beet goat cheese dish were absolutely lovely. Finally we had zabbaione and tiramisú, both were home made and equally lovely. If you're visiting Monschau take the 3 kilometer trip from the old town and experience this restaurant. It will be worth your efforts!

We had few options on Christmas night, but we were so glad Olives was open! The food was fantastic, atmosphere so charming, service impeccable.
