Restaurant Pizzeria Marco

I must say, we don't always do well when arriving in new places at odd times of the day, so checking out this place, right next door to the Formule motel where we stayed, turned out to be one of our luckier finds. They had a good, varied menu, reasonably priced and just happened to have the pizzas we fancied. We had a good value carafe of Bordeaux house wine, which wasn't at all bad, and couldn't help but notice the meals of our fellow diners looking very appetising. A pleasant and comfortable environment, even on a cool, wet day, helped us relax and enjoy a thoroughly decent meal. The staff were friendly and we were able to drink plentifully, knowing it was only fifty metres from our beds....
