Restaurant Seerose am Moossee

Just back from a wonderful trip to the family in Bern, where we were recommended by friends to visit this beautiful Resaurant. It was my father's day treatment and we all had a wonderful day. For lunch and the weather was sooo good we could sit outside on the terrace. What a really nice location on the side of a small lake on the edge of Bern, a look at their website for pictures. The food was excellent, the menu was not too big, so you don't get confused what to have. The wine list is great, many Swiss wines, why we cannot get them in the UK!!!! Das Essen war zwar wirklich sehr lecker, aber:Vor gut 3 Jahren hatte meine Freundin eine Raupe im Salat - das Personal nahm es schulterzuckend zur Kenntnis - keine Entschuldigung, nix!Gestern hatte ich eine Fliege im Gemüse (die, so wie sie aussah, mitgekocht wurde), was ich der Bedienung mitgeteilt habe. Der Herr sagte nur "Küchenchef" - ebenfalls keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches!Als ich es der Serviertochter sagte, wich sie meinem Anliegen aus und schob es auf die schlechten Sprachkenntnisse des Angestellten. Ich fühlte mich nicht ernst genommen!Zum Schluss wurde uns ein Gratisgetränk offeriert. Immerhin.Aber ich werde NIE MEHR dort essen gehen - in anderen Restaurants ist der Service t...

Ganz ehrlich!!!! Das Restaurant lebt alleine von der Lage, das Essen ist nicht wirklich das Geld wert. Wenn man gut essen möchte sollte man sein Geld woanders hinbringen und nicht hier lassen.BeimRestaurant dabei ist auch ein Campingplatz der sich nicht positiv auswirkt.Ja es war voll als ich da war, aber vieles kann man auch deutlich besser machen und es ist wirklich schade darum,dass sowenig daraus gemacht wird.Für mich war es eine Enttäuschung.

Surprisingly treated Father's Day Lunch by my daughter and son in law, I can only repeat my review of our last visit. The conditions were a bit boring, but not enough to sit outside for our meal to stop. The weather improved and made a great day out, we lost on the way, but hey, this is all part of the fun! They live a few miles away. with much help from me and the woman.

We stopped to check the lake and get ice. The sign in front said it was closed on August 1st, but no details. I would have preferred not to evaluate and only to inform, but had to give an assessment to be able to publish this information.
